Date Posted: Friday July 24, 2026 Closing Date: Friday July 31, 2026 (Open until filled) Position: Online Course Instructor - Indigenous Teacher Education Program Location: Online Asynchronous Faculty: Faculty of Education and Professional Studies Financial Compensation: Please review the compensation table in the collective agreement: CASBU 2022-2025 Qualifications Bachelor of Education, Masters, and PhD in education or a related field; Demonstrated successful teaching experience, as evidenced by a teaching philosophy, strong teaching evaluations, and/or other relevant achievements related to teaching; Certification as a registered teacher with the appropriate licensing authority (e.g. Ontario College of Teachers). Indigenous knowledge is valued and considered an asset in this role. The instructor is responsible for all instruction and evaluation for assigned portions of the online courses. They must also meet with students outside of official classroom time and adhere to university policies.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education, Masters, and PhD in education or a related field, along with valid teacher certification. Demonstrated successful teaching experience and Indigenous knowledge are highly valued.
