Company Description: oneROOF Youth Services is a community-focused organization dedicated to the safety, support, and overall well-being of youth aged 12–25 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Waterloo Region. The organization provides a range of services designed to meet immediate needs while fostering long-term stability and personal growth. Staff work collaboratively with youth, community partners, and service providers to ensure access to resources, advocacy, and guidance. Team members are encouraged to create an environment that is respectful, inclusive, and youth-centred, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Role Description: The C4C Store Coordinator is a part-time, on-site role based in Waterloo, ON, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the C4C Store. Job skills, duties, and responsibilities include: Develop, implement, and facilitate fundraising strategies to sustain income through Change4Change retail sales. Ensure all oneROOF Youth Services policies and procedures are adhered to. Ensure necessary supplies are available to fully operate Change4Change Interact with Marketing/Media Staff for all postings social media related, including advertisements, announcements, upcoming events etc. Coordination of Change4Change store/ social enterprise program/workshops daily operations, including training Clean all incoming donations and merchandise the store to promote Sales, Seasonal events. Maintain a manageable amount of stock (season-specific), ensuring items on the Youth ‘Need List’ are available and accessible. Advance the online store sales working alongside Marketing and Media Staff Track and provide a detailed daily sales report to the Fund Developer after the closing of each sales day. Build rapport with youth involved in either social enterprise program and/or retail business Focus on ways to repurpose and create sustainability with items that are donated. Attend Staff meetings Other duties as assigned Qualifications: A relevant degree in Retail Management, or equivalent education, as well as extensive relevant work experience. Experience working with all forms of payment (cash, e-transfers, credit). Extensive knowledge of social media, marketing, and merchandising would be beneficial. Experience working with at-risk youth and/or vulnerable populations would be an asset. An ability to engage and motivate youth is also required, along with an ability to design and adapt curriculum relevant to the development of cognitive and social skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required. Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-oriented environment Salary: $ 18.97 per hour Reports To: Manager of Service Operations (MSO) oneROOF Youth Services is an equal opportunity employer.
