Oulton College is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Nursing Faculty as Clinical Instructors for the LPN program. As a Clinical Instructor, you’ll play a vital role in shaping future nurses, ensuring they graduate with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in diverse healthcare settings. This is a part-time posting. What You’ll Do: Supervise and mentor nursing students during clinical placements in the Sackville Hospital Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster skill development in real-world environments Support the integration of classroom learning with clinical practice Promote professional attitudes and practices that reflect excellence in patient care Requirements Minimum of a Diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Current registration and good standing with the ANBLPN (Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses) Minimum of five years of recent and relevant experience as an LPN. Experience in high acuity setting. Previous experience teaching at an educational institute is an asset. Ability to apply the theory, practices, and principles of adult education. The Clinical Instructor will supervise and mentor nursing students during clinical placements at Sackville Hospital. They are responsible for evaluating student performance and integrating classroom theory into real-world clinical practice.

Candidates must hold a Diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse and maintain current registration with the ANBLPN. A minimum of five years of recent, relevant LPN experience, particularly in high acuity settings, is required.
