Résumé du poste
Georgian Animal Hospital in Parry Sound is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation, and we’re looking for a Medical Director who wants to be part of building something meaningful. This is not a “maintenance” leadership role. It’s a hands-on opportunity for a DVM who enjoys shaping culture, elevating clinical standards, and helping a motivated team turn good medicine into great medicine. We are in motion-clinically, operationally, and physically-with upcoming renovations designed to better support workflow, patient care, and team efficiency. Our technical team is strong, engaged, and eager to work at the top of their skillset, and our support staff bring a deep connection to the Parry Sound community alongside fresh energy and new perspectives. It’s a unique blend of long-standing local relationships and newer team members who are excited about where the clinic is heading. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable being fully embedded in day-to-day clinical practice while also leading by example to guide standards, mentorship, and team development. This role is ideal for a leader who values spectrum of care medicine, enjoys building structure where needed, and is energized by helping both patients and people thrive. Scheduling is flexible (16–36 hours per week depending on preference), with the goal of supporting both clinical impact and sustainable work-life balance. If you’re looking for a leadership role where you can truly influence the next chapter of a growing practice-and be part of shaping how it evolves-we’d love to connect. \n Total Compensation - Our clinic values our Veterinarians, and we prove it by supporting your personal, financial, and professional growth through: Competitive Salary: we offer a competitive range of $100,000 – $200,000/yr based on full-time hours, commensurate with experience and skill set Comprehensive Health Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, & Vision premiums paid by clinic) Professional Services coverage (chiropractor, massage therapist, physiotherapist, and more) Enhanced Mental Health Practitioner Coverage P3 Pawsitive Health & Lifestyle Spending Account Unlimited Continuing Education (CE) funds for advanced professional development plus one week of paid leave to attend CE RRSP Matching Program Employee Assistance Program Paid Licensing & Membership Dues Professional Liability Insurance coverage Paid Vacation Time Paid Sick & Personal Emergency Days Generous Veterinary Discounts (75% off services for your own pets, and an extended family and friends discount) Clothing Allowance Eligibility for a Performance Bonus Relocation Allowance to assist with moving expenses can be arranged for out-of-town candidates Education Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine \n If you are looking for a progressive environment where each individual is heard, and recognized for their unique contributions, we'd love to talk.
