As the first and last point of contact, you'll greet customers with a smile, ensure they found everything they needed, and provide fast, accurate checkout service. By working efficiently and treating every customer with respect, you'll help make every visit a great one while keeping wait times to a minimum. If you enjoy connecting with people and take pride in delivering exceptional service, we'd love to have you on our team. Responsibilities: Work in a safe manner in accordance with provincial and federal safety legislation. Report any potential hazards and unsafe behavior to management to have the situation corrected. Greet customers as they enter the store and direct them to the products they are looking for. Answer phones in a polite and timely manner. Process payments made with cash, debit cards, credit cards and gift cards by accurately and efficiently operating the cash register while treating every customer fairly and with respect. Be familiar with products/ads and the store layout to be able to answer questions and assist customers. Maintain the cash area and adjacent areas in accordance with the cash/sales floor housekeeping standards, ensuring supplies are well organized and replenished as required. Work on additional duties and assignments as assigned. Must be able to work between the hours of 7am-1pm Skills & Qualifications Great customer service skills. Excellent communication skills. Friendly and helpful attitude toward customers. Ability to work co-operatively in a team atmosphere. Willingness to learn. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Detail Orientated.
