*Job description* We are looking for a *Part Time Pharmacist* to promote our beliefs within our collaborative and dynamic pharmacy workforce! Starting at *$60 per hour!* You will be a joining an amazing team with experienced assistants and a pharmacy technician! Only one hour south of Penticton! * _*Highly competitive package!*_ * _*Open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, Saturdays 9am-5pm. *_*No Sundays or holidays!* * _*Fully staffed pharmacy support team including a Pharmacy Manager, Regulated Tech and Pharmacy Assistants!*_ * _*20 hours per week!*_ The ideal candidate will be available 2 shifts per week (4-6 hours per shift!) and available every other Saturday. Flexibility to pick up additional shifts is preferred. ½ hour out of major center of Penticton. Beautiful lake and wine country, all services, great outdoor activities, mild winters, hot summers. 1 hour south of major city of Kelowna, with small town, fruit farms and vineyards. *We will meet and exceed your wage expectations!* The Pharmacist directly supports the Designated Pharmacy Manager to ensure the ongoing success of store operations. Acting as a leader in driving superior customer experience, that translates into an environment that ensures people make the healthiest choices quickly, easily and confidently, helping them feel better every day. *Principal Responsibilities:* * Support the Designated Pharmacy manager. * Accurately and timely dispense all prescriptions. * Accurately and timely claim submission and/or registration of all patient focused services performed. * Adhere to opioid policy * Able to operate in a fast paced environment * Consult with patients to maximize Rx and OTC sales. * Perform patient focused services as deemed eligible and appropriate for the patients. * Report any dispensing errors (Medication Incident) found to the Pharmacy Manager or reported to the Pharmacy Manager and head office within 24 hours. * Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations. * Responsible for supervising ongoing follow-up and collection of 3rd party receivables. * Maintaining the dispensary inventory level within the prescribed guidelines through accurate perpetual inventory records. * Other duties as assigned *Required Skills:* * Registered with the corresponding provincial licensing college, where applicable in the province seeking employment, in good standing * Experience as a Pharmacist * Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation * Proficient computer/data/entry skills * Strong customer/patient satisfaction orientation. * Ability to achieve results with a strong sense of urgency and a ?can-do? attitude. * Ability to maintain the optimum balance between the profession of pharmacy and business of pharmacy. * Strong problem solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work productively as a member of a dynamic and fast-paced team. #HP1 Pay: From $60.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Paid time off Ability to commute/relocate: * Osoyoos, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: * pharmacist: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Pharmacy License (required) Work Location: In person
