Programs blend interactive learning, creativity, and critical thinking to help young learners understand and use AI responsibly. PrompToGo aims to equip students with confidence and digital literacy that will support their long-term academic and personal growth. Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Certified Instructor role based in Markham, ON. The Instructor will lead small group classes, delivering structured lessons on AI concepts and effective prompt-writing in a kid-friendly format. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, guiding hands-on activities, monitoring student progress, and maintaining a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. The role also involves communicating with caregivers about class content and student engagement, adhering to safety protocols, and providing feedback to the program team to improve curriculum and learning outcomes. Qualifications Experience teaching or instructing children in a classroom, camp, tutoring, or similar educational setting. Knowledge of basic AI concepts, digital literacy, or educational technology, with willingness to learn program-specific content. Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with an ability to explain concepts in clear, age-appropriate language. Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment for diverse learners. Organizational skills for lesson preparation, time management, and accurate record-keeping. Availability to work part-time on-site in Markham, ON, including after-school or weekend hours as needed. Prior experience in STEM, coding, or educational programs for children is an asset. Relevant certification or training in education, child care, or youth programs is preferred but not required.
