Job Summary The HCA is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and provides personal care services as needed to meet the client’s needs. Responsibilities * Assistance with personal care and hygiene * Meal Preparation * Light Housekeeping * Accompany clients on outings * Shopping and errands * Medication Assist/ Reminders * Ambulation and transportation of clients * Provide companionship to clients * Ability to follow care plan * Documentation/Charting Qualifications * Healthcare Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student). * Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain * Driver's license and own transportation required * Access to Internet/mobile phone * Criminal Record Check (recent within 1 year) * Ability to speak, read and write English fluently * Be registered in the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory Licence: * Class 5 License

The Health Care Aide will provide personal care services as needed to meet client requirements, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator. Responsibilities include assistance with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, accompanying clients on outings, and medication reminders.

Candidates must possess a Healthcare Aide Certificate or equivalent, current CPR/First Aid training, and be registered in the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory. A recent criminal record check, driver's license, own transportation, and fluent English communication skills are mandatory.
