Job Summary The Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct skilled client care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive client care outcomes. Responsibilities * Provides direct patient care * Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation * Conducts ongoing assessments * Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications * Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with the provincial scope of practice * Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions Qualifications * Current certificate of competence and good standing * Certified in CPR * Strong clinical skills * Negative TB test or chest x-ray * Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision * Excellent customer service skills Compensation: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour Are you looking for a rewarding career in the healthcare industry?
