Equipment Inspector - Part Time

The Part-Time Equipment Inspectors are part of our Detailed Equipment Information (DEI) team. They are responsible to perform accurate and thorough visual inspections (eg. wear points, damage, hour meter readings, etc) and functional testing (eg. basic operations) on heavy equipment. About the team - Yard Operations We conduct hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction – from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.

The Equipment Inspector performs accurate visual inspections and functional testing on heavy equipment to support the Detailed Equipment Information team. They are responsible for documenting wear points, damage, and hour meter readings while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Candidates should have prior experience in equipment management, inventory control, or appraisals, along with knowledge of industrial or agricultural machinery. Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team are essential.
