Fernie Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of Dishwasher at Cirque Restaurant and Legends Mountain Eatery. Reporting to the manager on duty, the ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a willingness to learn new skills, have a positive attitude and be teamwork-oriented, is flexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You Will Ensure a safe, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff Maintain dish machine – water levels, temperature, cleanliness, and chemicals Provide all staff with clean dishes, cutlery, glassware, utensils, and cookware Operation of the dish machine – set up, loading, and cleaning of the machine Have a complete knowledge of all chemicals used in the dish area Maintenance of dish area – shelves, floor, walls, counters, lights, containers Garbage removal/recycling program Ensure all items being re-shelved are clean and sanitized Assist with food preparation as necessary ** Ongoing cleanliness throughout kitchen and dish pit area Know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable You Have WHMIS knowledge is an asset; we will train Organizational skills and are a team player Physically capability – Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds Previous experience is an asset; we will train Compensation And Benefits Competitive wage: $19.00/hour Mountain access perks: Staff receive an RCR pass with full mountain access, plus reciprocal resort tickets (for full-time staff) and discounted friends & family tickets Staff discounts: Enjoy savings on food & beverage, rentals, retail items and hotel accommodation.
