How you will make impact: As a Pharmacy Technician at Rexall, you’ll ensure excellence in patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency. Your Patient focused responsibilities will include: * Responsible to ensure accurate process flow related to patient records retention. * Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions. * Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system. * Complete documentation i.e. Third party management and reconciliation, patient files, prescriptions, printing reports, invoices etc. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace and dispensary. * Support the pharmacy team with inventory management. * This role is filling an existing vacancy on the team. How you will succeed: * Completed a Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Bridging program from an accredited College (Required). * Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam (Required). * Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists (e.g. O.C.P.) (Required). * 1 year continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment. * Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Windows proficiency required. Join Rexall Today!
