Childcare Worker for Private Club Playroom - Part Time

This part-time position is responsible for the care of children up to 5 years old in the Playroom while providing a safe and nurturing environment. The playroom staff will create a safe, caring, and engaging environment conducive to building trust with all members. This is a part-time position for day shifts on weekends and holidays. Flexibility to work various day shifts as needed would be an asset. Responsibilities Greet/interact professionally with members and children. Provide care to infants and toddlers, including snack offerings and diaper changes. Engage children of all ages with a variety of group activities, including craft making, swimming, and camp games. Creating and running childcare programs Prepare and serve snacks and/or meals. Respond to parents’ inquiries in a timely fashion. Promote health and wellness through hand washing, cleaning of toys, etc. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Maintain a clean and orderly environment. Clean and organize the playroom and put away any hazardous equipment. Support and assist other team members by conversing and contributing information on an ongoing basis. Personal/professional conduct in daily activities to align with Club and Member expectations. Candidates must possess an Infant/Child First Aid Certificate or Standard First Aid/CPR C/AED and a current Vulnerable Sector Check. An Early Childcare Level 1 certification and a strong focus on customer service are also required.
