Sixstream Signs Ltd. is looking to add to our hard-working team. The ideal candidate must be reliable and detail-oriented with clear communication skills, experience with hand and power tools. Working alongside our professional team of sign fabricators and installers you will gain experience and knowledge in the production of custom signs and visual features. This position requires driving around Lower Mainland, therefore a Valid BC Driver’s License is a must. Duties And Responsibilities: Prepare sign materials for fabrication and installation Assist with sign production, including assembling, joining, painting signs Conduct site surveys to obtain job site images and measurements Help install signs that may require the use of ladders, scaffolding and lifts Perform minor carpentry tasks such as building crates and fixing wooden posts Install and remove residential and commercial real estate posts and signs Load and unload material shipments Package signs for shipment Perform deliveries and pick-ups across the Lower Mainland Maintain quality control and test finished products Organize and clean all work areas by sweeping, vacuuming, removing debris Use computer programs and mobile applications to organize your day and communicate with the team Practice all safety procedures, policies, and standards Requirements And Qualifications: Verbal and written communication skills Capacity to follow instructions Experience with power and hand tools Punctuality and dependability Positive attitude and eagerness to learn Valid BC Driver’s License with clean Driver’s record Ability to read a measuring tape Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination Physical capacity to move and work on your feet throughout the day Ability to lift and carry heavy items - up to 50lbs Proficiency with using phone applications and other technology Forklift ticket is an asset Boom Lift ticket is an asset Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour Additional Pay: Overtime pay Benefits: Casual dress On-site parking Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift No weekends Experience: Repair, Maintenance & Installation Occupations: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Driver's Licence (preferred) Sixstream Signs Ltd. is looking to add to our hard-working team.
