Job Summary The student will assist in the assembly of meals and serve patient meals in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and aseptic conditions in assigned areas, stocking the dish room, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards. Qualifications And Experience Student under the age of 18 and currently at least 15 years of age. Food Handler Training Certificate is preferred. Knowledge of Best Practices for Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings Ability to use Microsoft Office Proven ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written English instructions. Demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communications skills. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting). Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize workloads and manage stressful work environments. Demonstrated ability to work independently and willingness to be flexible to meet department needs. Demonstrated commitment to, and understanding of the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion. There is the expectation that you are available to work weekdays, weekends and all shifts (days, nights, 12 hours). This is a replacement position. Exigences

Candidates must be students between 15 and 17 years of age with the ability to meet physical demands and follow English instructions. A Food Handler Training Certificate and knowledge of infection control best practices are preferred.
