As a Maintenance Assistant, you help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community for residents, families, and team members. What You’ll Do: • Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders • Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures) • Assist with painting and refurbishing projects • Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance • Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks • Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory • Support carpet and floor care as needed • Assist with suite “make-ready” preparation • Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards • Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills • Drive community vehicle as assigned You play a key role in safety, compliance, and day-to-day building operations. The Maintenance Assistant performs routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and suite preparation to ensure a safe and functional community environment. They also support building operations by managing tools, equipment, and compliance with safety and fire regulations.

The candidate should be capable of performing basic repairs across plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. They must be able to follow safety standards and assist with general facility upkeep as assigned.
