The Room Attendant plays an essential role in creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, families and team members. This position supports both housekeeping and laundry operations while upholding Sunrise’s quality service standards and commitment to resident-centered care. What You’ll Do: • Perform housekeeping duties in resident suites, common areas and offices • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures and surfaces • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, showers and glass surfaces • Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms • Collect trash and transport clean and soiled linens appropriately • Sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute community laundry • Inspect linens for wear and follow procedures for damaged items • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in safe, orderly condition • Follow infection control, OSHA and safety procedures at all times • Assist with resident needs and communicate updates to supervisors • Participate in team meetings and engagement initiatives Room Attendant – Help Create a Clean, Safe and Welcoming Home for Residents Room Attendant | Housekeeper | Housekeeping | Laundry Attendant | Senior Living | Environmental Services Pay Range: 24.34 - 30.43 Employment Type: Casual This position is classified as a casual role. Casual employees work on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours and are not considered permanent employees. Employment is not guaranteed for any specific duration and may be ended at any time in accordance with applicable employment standards. The position requires the ability to maintain cleaning equipment and follow safety and infection control procedures. Candidates must be able to work on an as-needed basis as a casual employee.
