Overview Scale Person Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, with over 50 years’ experience, involved in; civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction. Work Local - Work Sureway! Job Type: Part Time, Seasonal Schedule: 7:00AM-4:30PM, 2-3 Days per week, with the ability to work more if required. OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week Location: Edmonton and Surrounding Area’s - no direct access to public transportation Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions Requirements: Personal Reliable Vehicle CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support Pre-employment: Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test) Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation Scale Person Responsibilities: Scale loads. Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, drivers, and coworkers. Follow work instructions and procedures. Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. The Scale Person is responsible for scaling loads and communicating professionally with clients, drivers, and coworkers. They must also adhere to and promote the company's safety programs and procedures.

Candidates must have a reliable personal vehicle, CSA approved steel-toed boots, and be able to pass a drug and alcohol test. Reliability, flexibility with scheduling, and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions are essential.
