JOB DESCRIPTION As a Part-time Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for efficient and proper handling of stock and products within the warehouse. Responsibilities: * Complete replenishment orders and put product away. * Handle stock carefully and properly to avoid damages. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment. * Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally. * Hauling of inbound freight off the docks. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Must be 18+ years of age. * Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as required for the role and safety regulations. * Must pass all pre-employment testing (Background Check, Physical Abilities Test). * High school diploma or equivalent. * Team player who also works well independently. * Ability to work safely and operate power equipment in a safe manner is required (i.e., Forklift and Pallet Jack). * Warehouse experience is an asset. Hours of Work: * Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. * Work most statutory holidays; receive “floater” time off in lieu, which can be booked like vacation. Compensation: * Start: $28.08 per hour * Year 2: $28.35 per hour * Year 3: $29.45 per hour * Year 4: $30.55 per hour * Year 5: $32.86 per hour * Eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses Sysco is committed to Employment Equity.
