Registered Veterinary Technician

Tantramar Veterinary Hospital is Hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician! We are seeking an RVT for a permanent, part-time position with the possibility of becoming full-time. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task and work well with others as well as independently. Some of your duties will include patient care, restraint, surgical assistance, collecting and running lab samples, taking x-rays, maintaining patient records on our software, communicating with and supporting clients and patients and cleaning duties. Experience is not required but a Veterinary Technician diploma with the ability to take the VTNE, if it has not been taken already, is required. The Tantramar Veterinary Hospital is a small, but mighty, Hospital with 1 veterinarian, an RVT and a CSR, nestled in Sackville, NB. We have an in-house lab, digital and dental x-ray, a Phovia lamp and an ultrasound. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care, including surgical assistance, running lab samples, and taking x-rays. Additionally, the technician is responsible for maintaining patient records and supporting clients.

A Veterinary Technician diploma is required, along with the ability to take the VTNE. Experience is not required, but the candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
