Position: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist Dept: Diagnostic Imaging Posting ID: 7478 Status: Temporary Part-Time (approx. 6 months) Role Level: AT09.3 ($37.95 to $53.32) Site: Queensway Health Centre (Must be able to work at all three sites as assigned. The Hospital retains the right to change assigned work location to any other THP site either permanently or temporarily based on operational needs. Guided by our values of compassion, excellence, and courage, and through our strategic roadmap, Plan to 2030 [https://strategy.thp.ca/], we are creating a new kind of health care - defined not by illness, but by the health and well-being of people and communities. *The location of any vacancy/position may be changed or reassigned as per operational needs Position Summary: * Performs routine and specialized CT procedures * Ability to work with all areas to ensure quality patient focused care * Assist in the ongoing quality assurance program * Facilitates work area assignments * Works in conjunction with other team members and Resource Technologist cooperatively to prioritize, coordinate and integrate workloads * Coordinate troubleshooting of equipment * Ensure proper stocking of rooms * Function with other diagnostic imaging team members to monitor and optimize use of resources * Support a customer-focused environment * Other duties as required Qualifications: * Candidates must possess current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists * Candidates must be registered with the CMRITO * Minimum of 1 years related experience in CT * Superior interpersonal and communication skills * Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities * Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently * Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession * Preference will be given to candidates with hospital experience * Satisfactory attendance and performance record required * Preference will be given to technologists who have successfully completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC) To pursue this career opportunity, please visit our website: www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca [http://www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca/] Trillium Health Partners’ (THP) is an equal opportunity employer who values the importance of antiracism work and is committed to integrating antiracism, diversity, equity and inclusion best practices throughout THP operations, policies and culture. Exigences

Candidates must possess current certification in Diagnostic Radiography and be registered with the CMRITO. A minimum of one year of related CT experience is required, with preference given to those holding Computed Tomography Imaging Certification.
