Job Description: * Responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing care and performing those delegated medical acts as required in the Imaging Department * Participates as a colleague with allied health disciplines and physicians by providing clinical and technical support * Demonstrate knowledge, experience and the ability to care for patients with the initiation of IV’s, administration of medication above the drip chamber, patient controlled analgesia, central venous access devices, blood glucose monitoring, naso-gastric tubes, wound management skills, routine infection control practices, normal and abnormal blood values Qualifications: * Graduate of a recognized College - School of Nursing and preferably hold a Baccalaureate degree * Current certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario is required * Critical Care Certificate required (Applicants currently enrolled and working toward completion may be considered, provided the certificate is completed within one year of application) * Current BLS and ACLS required * Minimum three years of recent Interventional Radiology experience preferred; candidates with at least three years of recent ED, ICU, and/or PACU experience may be considered if Interventional Radiology experience is not available * Demonstrates strong attention to patient and family-centred care and establishing therapeutic relationships * Previous experience in providing and delivering patients and families with educational teaching as applicable * Demonstrates excellence in communication skills and team work * Evidence of on-going professional development preferred * Computer literacy required * Satisfactory attendance and performance record required To pursue this career opportunity, please visit our website: www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca [http://www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca/] Trillium Health Partners’ (THP) is an equal opportunity employer who values the importance of antiracism work and is committed to integrating antiracism, diversity, equity and inclusion best practices throughout THP operations, policies and culture. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care within the Diagnostic Imaging department. They provide clinical and technical support while collaborating with allied health disciplines and physicians.

Candidates must hold a nursing degree, current CNO certification, and BLS/ACLS certification. A Critical Care Certificate and at least three years of recent Interventional Radiology, ED, ICU, or PACU experience are required.
