True North Cannabis Co. & True North Vapes are looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals to join our team in a dynamic dual-retail environment. In this role, you’ll support both cannabis and vape/tobacco operations while delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining strict compliance with Ontario regulations. WHAT YOU’LL DO CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES * Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, professional approach * Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cannabis and vape products * Deliver a high level of customer engagement and product education * Upsell and cross-sell to meet individual and store sales goals * Handle customer questions or concerns with professionalism and care STORE OPERATIONS & COMPLIANCE * Verify age (19+) in accordance with AGCO and provincial regulations * Follow all cannabis and tobacco compliance standards * Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising * Assist with inventory (receiving, stocking, rotating products) * Support store events, audits, and safety procedures KEYHOLDER RESPONSIBILITIES (AS ASSIGNED) * Open and close the store following company procedures * Complete cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting * Lead the sales floor in the absence of management * Ensure team adherence to policies, safety, and compliance * Act as a point of contact for staff and customers during shifts WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Must be 19 years of age or older * CannSell Certification (required before start date) * 1+ year of retail or customer service experience (regulated industry preferred) * Experience with POS systems and cash handling * Previous keyholder or leadership experience is an asset * Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills * Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to remain on your feet and actively move throughout the store for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift) * Ability to safely lift, carry, and organize inventory up to 40 lbs * Frequent bending, reaching, and stocking across multiple store zones (sales floor, stockroom, secure storage) * Strong attention to detail for tasks such as ID verification, cash handling, and POS operation * Ability to maintain focus, clear communication, and situational awareness in a fast-paced, regulated retail environment WHY JOIN TRUE NORTH? * Be part of a growing leader in Ontario’s cannabis and vape industry * Employee discounts and product training * Health benefits (for eligible employees) * Opportunities for internal growth and advancement * Supportive, team-driven workplace culture COMPENSATION & HOURS * Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract * Part-time: 0–31 hours per week * Full-time: 32–44 hours per week * Store hours may range between 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM, 7 days a week OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU True North Cannabis Co. & Associated Companies are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, recommending cannabis and vape products, and managing store operations including inventory and compliance. Keyholders are also responsible for opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and leading the sales floor.

Candidates must be at least 19 years old and hold a CannSell certification. At least one year of retail or customer service experience is required, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
