Winter term 2027 Vacancy: 1 Salary: 7717.92$* *As indicated in Appendix A of the collective agreement for part-time professors. A part-time professor is required for the following special topics course: Term Course code Special topics title Faculty Winter 2027 THO 3149 WS00 Special topics in theology: Introduction to Augustine Faculty of Theology Description of the delivery mode: This type of course is broadcast in synchronous mode (live) at a specific date and time, but is not recorded. The student must therefore be connected remotely at the given time. Date Schedule Mode of Delivery Language January 11 to April 14, 2027 Thursdays 1 :30-4 :30 PM Web-synchronous ENG Course description: Introduction course to Saint Augustine. Required Experience and Qualifications: * Hold a Ph.D. in theology (a specialization in patristics will be considered an asset). * Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of patristic theology, particularly the Latin Fathers (Augustine, Tertullian, Lactantius, and Cyprian of Carthage). * Demonstrate passive proficiency in the second official language. * Proficiency in Latin will be considered a significant asset. * Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity, including differences in abilities, gender, and culture, as well as to students’ concerns. * Demonstrate proficiency in the use of online learning tools.
