Résumé du poste
Given the growing complexity of managerial decision-making, the overall mission of this course is to foster ethical decision-making and behaviour in organizations. This course is designed to stimulate discussion of the emergent applied ethical issues in organizations. Students will be trained in critical thinking - the ability to address issues from both sides, to evaluate the best arguments on each side, and to arrive at a conclusion based upon a systematic analysis of these arguments. Specific topics covered include the modern global business environment, current issues facing business, government and society, the not-for-profit sector, workplace matters, stakeholder ethics, ethical decision making, and strategic responses to a changing global business environment. The minimum requirement for consideration is a Master's degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the topic area. Previous experience teaching at the graduate level in a university environment is considered an asset. Please attach an updated resume to your application letter and include teaching evaluation scores if available. Please take note of the following: Please apply to each CAE posting in a separate email. The subject line should contain course number, title, section and the term you wish to teach (i.e. MBA 7303 Marketing Management SJ1M1, Fall 2026). For each application, please attach a cover letter, updated resume, and teaching evaluation scores if available. The CAE Contract binds the Contract Academic Instructor to take the course from start to conclusion including invigilation and marking of the final exam. Applicants who are graduate students please submit the Part-time Employment Form with sections 1 and 2 completed with your application package. Course offerings are subject to budgetary approval and may be subject to minimum enrolment. Applicants can access the Collective Agreement between The University of New Brunswick and The Association of University of New Brunswick Teachers - Contract Academic Employees (Group 2) at the following link https://www.unb.ca/hr/_resources/pdf/agreements/caecollectiveagreemen20162020final1.pdf The Assessment Committee requests formal and complete applications to our postings. Full-time hiring is in process and this course could become part of a regular teaching load.
