Custodian

Responsibilities: * Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting * Clean and disinfect washrooms, change rooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and common areas * Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal * Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper * Assist with event setup and furniture arrangement as needed Qualifications * Current Standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification * Previous custodian experience is an asset * Ability to work 8-hours shifts, lift up to 22 lbs and stand for extended periods of time * Strong attention to detail and reliability SKILLS REQUIRED * Time management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good customer service skills * Good communication and problem-solving skills PHYSICAL/PSYCHOLOGICAL DEMANDS * Ability to work in a fast-paced noisy environment * Ability to work inside as well as outside when required * The successful candidate must hold high ethical standards as they are working with a vulnerable population EMPLOYMENT TERM * This is a part-time position, offering up to 29 hours per week, including evenings and weekends Required CSA Standard Z1210-17 IFA WHMIS This position will be open until a suitable candidate is found.
