Company Description Zero Gravity Physiotherapy is a specialized clinic focused on delivering evidence-based, current health information and individualized care to each patient. The team emphasizes hands-on, manual physiotherapy techniques, including spinal manipulation, Active Release Therapy, Graston Technique, and acupuncture. The clinic is one of the few physiotherapy centers to offer this combination of advanced techniques in a single location. In addition, Zero Gravity Physiotherapy provides immediate orthopedic surgery referrals through partnerships with consulting orthopedic surgeons, supporting comprehensive musculoskeletal care. Role Description This part-time, on-site Registered Physiotherapist role is based in Welland, ON. The Registered Physiotherapist will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide manual therapy interventions, including spinal manipulation, soft tissue techniques, and exercise prescription. Daily responsibilities include documenting clinical findings, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with referring physicians and orthopedic surgeons as needed. The role also involves educating patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and evidence-based health information to support long-term recovery and wellness. The physiotherapist will contribute to a safe, inclusive clinic environment and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Current registration and good standing with the appropriate provincial physiotherapy regulatory body. Demonstrated skills in manual therapy techniques such as spinal manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, and related hands-on interventions. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare partners. Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing learning, and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge. Experience or training in Active Release Therapy, Graston Technique, and acupuncture is an asset. Strong clinical documentation skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Ability to manage a part-time caseload, prioritize tasks, and deliver patient-centered care in an on-site clinic setting. CPR/First Aid certification and experience in musculoskeletal or orthopedic physiotherapy are beneficial.
