What you’ll do: Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, the Liquor Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core values and Brand: * Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s policies and procedures and participating in the Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety. * Providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto. * Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly location, adhering to brand standards * Operative till/handling cash * Stocking shelves as required and making necessary deliveries * Other projects and assignments as required. This position requires the use of equipment, as well as frequent heavy lifting of product (up to 50lbs unassisted). Who you are: We are looking for a positive, approachable, and motivated individual with a drive to learn. Candidates will demonstrate the following: * Liquor product knowledge is an asset * Must obtain ProServe Certification * Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract * Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted. * Professional, people-first, Guest service skills * Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork) * Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills. * Quality communication skills. * Ability to work effectively with others This is a part-time position, the successful candidate will have the ability to work days, evenings and weekends for approximately 20-30 hours per week.
